Behind the Scenes

Alex is one of the quiet driving forces behind Oakey Family Dental. As a Registered Nurse, mum, and co-owner of the practice alongside Dr Chris, she works mostly behind the scenes helping keep everything running smoothly day to day.

Passionate about family, community, and creating a welcoming environment, Alex plays a big part in the heart of the practice. From supporting the team and helping patients feel comfortable, to organising community events, school visits, and all the little details many people never see — she is always working to make Oakey Family Dental feel warm, friendly, and family focused.

Outside the clinic, Alex’s world revolves around her boys Hugo and Thomas, nursing, and of course Floss — Oakey Family Dental’s much-loved mascot and sidekick.

Whether it is school events, community sponsorships, dental health visits, or creating fun ways to make dentistry less scary for children, Alex loves helping bring smiles to families both inside and outside the practice.
