Dr Ryan Liu brings a unique global perspective to Oakey Family Dental, having grown up in Taiwan, Los Angeles, Guatemala, and Seattle before settling in Australia in 2012. He completed a nursing degree at Charles Darwin University in 2016 before going on to study dentistry at James Cook University, graduating in 2023.

Ryan combines his healthcare background with strong clinical experience gained across Cairns, Mount Isa, and Townsville, particularly in emergency care.

Dr Ryan is known for his calm, thoughtful approach, taking the time to clearly explain treatment options so patients feel informed and comfortable.

Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Spanish, Ryan connects easily with patients from all backgrounds. He works closely with Dr Chris and local specialists to ensure patients receive the most appropriate care.

Outside the clinic, Ryan enjoys reading, chess, and learning—always looking for ways to grow both professionally and personally
